Nura Pro LLC ("Nura," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Nura construction project management platform, including the website at nura-pro.com and our mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access or use our Service, including our integrated SMS/text messaging, voice calling, and email communication features.
By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, company/organization name, and password when you create an account.
- Phone Numbers: Your phone number and the phone numbers of your clients and contacts that you enter into the platform for communication purposes.
- Messaging Content: The content of SMS/text messages, WhatsApp messages, and emails sent and received through the platform.
- Voice Call Data: Call recordings, voicemail recordings, transcriptions, and call metadata (duration, timestamps, caller/recipient numbers).
- Project and Business Data: Project details, estimates, invoices, schedules, photos, documents, and other business information you enter into the Service.
- Contact Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses of your clients, subcontractors, and other contacts.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment processors.
- Communications With Us: Information you provide when you contact us for support, request a demo, or otherwise communicate with us.
2.2 Device Permissions and On-Device Data
Our mobile application may request access to certain device features. You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings.
- Camera and Photos: We request access to your device camera and photo library to allow you to capture and upload project photos, document site conditions, and attach images to messages. Photos you capture or select are uploaded to our servers for use within the Service.
- Microphone: We request microphone access to enable voice calling features and voice memo recording within the platform.
- Location: We may request access to your device location to associate geographic information with project sites, photos, and check-ins. Location data is used solely within the context of your projects.
- Contacts: We may request access to your device contacts to help you quickly add clients, subcontractors, and team members to the platform. Contact data accessed from your device is used only to populate contact fields within the Service and is not stored beyond what you explicitly save to your Nura account.
- Push Notifications: We collect push notification tokens to deliver real-time alerts about project updates, messages, scheduling changes, and other time-sensitive communications. You can disable push notifications through your device settings at any time.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage and Analytics Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, click patterns, session duration, and in-app events. We collect analytics events to understand how users interact with the Service and to improve the user experience.
- Crash Reporting: We use Sentry for crash and error reporting. This service collects crash logs, stack traces, device state at the time of an error, and, because we enable default personally identifiable information (PII) collection, it may also collect your IP address and email address associated with your session. This data is used exclusively for diagnosing and fixing application issues.
- Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, referring URLs, and access times.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See Section 10 below.
2.4 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party services that you connect to Nura, such as email account integrations (Gmail, Microsoft), and from analytics and advertising partners.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and Maintain the Service: Operate and deliver our construction project management platform, including project tracking, estimating, scheduling, and communication features.
- Facilitate Messaging: Send and receive SMS/text messages, WhatsApp messages, voice calls, and emails on your behalf to your clients, subcontractors, and contacts through our integrated communication tools.
- Process Transactions: Handle invoicing, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Service Communications: Send you transactional messages, security codes, account notifications, and support responses.
- Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features.
- AI-Powered Features: Provide photo analysis, walkthrough summaries, call transcription, and other AI-assisted features.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
- Safety and Security: Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
4. SMS/Text Messaging
Nura provides integrated SMS/text messaging capabilities that allow platform users (construction contractors and project managers) to communicate with their clients, subcontractors, and other contacts. This section describes our practices specific to text messaging.
4.1 Types of Messages
Messages sent through the Nura platform may include:
- Project status updates and notifications
- Appointment and scheduling reminders
- Client communication and project coordination
- Invoice and payment notifications
- Service-related transactional messages
4.2 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on project activity and communication needs. Recurring messages may be sent for ongoing project updates.
4.3 Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS/text messages sent or received through the Service, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
4.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from the Nura platform. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will promptly cease sending further text messages to your number. You may also contact us at team@nura-pro.com to request removal from messaging lists.

4.6 Data Collected Through Messaging
When you use our messaging features, we collect and store phone numbers, message content, timestamps, delivery status, and opt-in/opt-out records. This data is used solely to provide the messaging service, maintain compliance, and improve service quality.
4.7 No Sharing for Marketing
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or messaging data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers and messaging data are shared only with our messaging service provider (Twilio) and mobile carriers as necessary to deliver messages.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including Twilio (SMS/voice messaging delivery), Supabase (data hosting), Sentry (crash reporting and error monitoring), payment processors, email delivery services, and AI processing providers. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Mobile Carriers: Phone numbers and message metadata are shared with mobile carriers as required for SMS/text message delivery and compliance with carrier regulations.
- Within Your Organization: Information you enter into the platform may be accessible to other members of your organization based on their role and permissions.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Secure authentication and access controls
- Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments
- Employee access restrictions on a need-to-know basis
- Secure hosting infrastructure with SOC 2 compliant providers
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and a reasonable period after closure.
- Messaging Records: Message content and metadata are retained for the duration of your account.
- Consent Records: Records of opt-in consent and opt-out requests are retained for a minimum of five (5) years as required by applicable regulations, including TCPA.
- Call Recordings: Retained according to your account settings and applicable legal requirements.
When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
8. Your Rights and Choices
8.1 General Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Delete your account directly from within the mobile application
- Opt out of receiving promotional communications
- Opt out of SMS/text messages by replying STOP
- Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis

8.2 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the Nura mobile application or by contacting us at team@nura-pro.com. When you delete your account:
- Your profile information, project data, photos, and documents will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
- Message history, call recordings, and communication logs associated with your account will be removed.
- Some information may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
- Certain records may be retained as required by law, including messaging consent records (retained for a minimum of five years per TCPA requirements), financial transaction records, and data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.
8.3 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:
- The right to know what personal information is collected, used, and shared
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

8.4 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Other State Residents

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
